Basic equipment of a character consists of armor (torso), gloves, boots, a hat, and a weapon. Equipment varies depending on the character’s level and class. You can learn more about additional gear slots on the following pages:
All types of boots in the game provide movement speed.
Flying Chest
You receive the Flying Chest only after completing the first storyline quests from Tailor — Granny Nila. Depending on your class, the chest grants armor and weapons every 5 levels, from level 15 to 45.
- At level 15, the character receives gloves and boots
- At level 20, the character receives a Heavenly Berry
- At level 35, all characters receive 2×
Acceleration Potion (untradeable) and 5×
Flash Bomb Lv1 (untradeable)
Equipment Summon Scrolls
When killing monsters, the character does not receive equipment directly. Instead, they obtain an Equipment Summon Scroll of a certain level (Lv10–75). Upon using the scroll, one random piece of basic equipment for any class drops. This can be armor, gloves, boots, hats, weapons, or a shield.
Equipment and TIERS

Equipment, jewelry, and rings are personal items!
During the storyline, the Blacksmith — John Brown — will introduce you to crafting and provide blueprints for the starter equipment that you will upgrade throughout the game. Currently, only one type of equipment is available, along with its tier-upgrading system (referred to as TIERS). Each tier is upgraded sequentially using special items. With each tier increase, you gain additional stats that make your character stronger.
All gear falls into two categories:
- NG items — these items are primarily obtained from Equipment Summon Scrolls. Crowns are also considered NG items.
- Hats for Lance, Phyllis, and Carsise are obtained from the floating chest. These hats are needed, among other things, to display the hat on your character. You can also obtain hats from equipment scrolls - lvl 55, lvl 60, lvl 75. Using
Transmutation Stone for Hats, you can upgrade your hat's additional stats depending on its class and item level. - Unseals — these items do not drop from scrolls and exist only in the form of weapons and armor.
You can read about unseal tiers and NG items in class-specific guides:
Information on all hats except crowns can be found in the guides above, crown table:

Lv55 and Lv65 unseals are upgraded using the item
