Hand pet (Lootpet)

Example of item display

Hand Pet (lootpet) — a piece of character equipment that helps automatically collect only the most valuable loot during farming: green and purple bags, gems, certain chests, and flasks. It frees the player from having to manually run to dropped loot and press a key combination to pick it up, preventing the inventory from being filled with junk items (yellow bags). Loot doesn’t drop to the ground at all — it goes directly into the character’s inventory. The loot filter can also be configured manually. Hand pets also increase the item drop rate, and some increase character stats. By learning the “Hand Pet Body” skill, the pet allows the player to buff themselves in PvE zones. Hand pets do not work during woodcutting. In PvP zones, the hand pet is visually hidden (for convenience) but continues functioning.

Types of Hand Pets

There are three types of hand pets.

Temporary Hand Pet

A Temporary Hand Pet is a regular pet obtained from a story quest for 24 hours, after which it returns to the NPC.

Normal Hand Pet

A Normal Hand Pet is one whose egg can be purchased in the Item Mall (Hand Pet section). It can be traded and sold to other players. It does not increase drop rates or character stats — it’s purely for convenience during farming and for using the “Hand Pet Body” skill.

Rare Hand Pet

A Rare Hand Pet is one whose egg can be bought in the Item Mall (Hand Pet section). It can also be traded or sold to other players. By default, it grants +5% (0.05) item drop rate bonus. If the player speaks with Pet Tamer – Theodora in Argent (953,765), the rare pet can gain an additional random character stat bonus:

  • +3% Physical Attack
  • +3% HP
  • +3% Spirit
  • +3% Dodge
  • +3% Critical Chance

How to Change the Stat Bonus of a Rare Pet

If the obtained stat bonus isn’t satisfactory, it can be changed to another random one. Purchase a Dragon Fruit from the “Hand Pet” section of the Item Mall, then ask Pet Tamer – Theodora in Argent (953,765) to reroll the stat. Each reroll consumes one Dragon Fruit.

Skill: "Hand Pet Body" to Buff the Character

Using the Hand Pet Body skill allows a player to buff themselves for 5 minutes. Works only in PvE zones.
Using the Hand Pet Body skill allows a player to buff themselves for 5 minutes. Works only in PvE zones.
After buying and learning the skill book “Hand Pet Body” in the Item Mall, the character gains the ability to cast a level 10 buff that increases defense, physical attack power, attack speed, and movement speed. The buff lasts 5 minutes. The skill cannot be used to buff other players. The skill works only in PvE zones.

Drop Filter

The server uses a loot filter system for hand pets. When any hand pet is equipped, filtering is activated. Filtered items, depending on settings, are not dropped on the ground — they are instantly added to the inventory (if there’s space). If the inventory is full, the items drop normally.

Filtering is configured in the game’s item database. To start configuring the filter, the player must log in to the account they wish to set up.

Drop Filter Settings

In the item tab of the database, each item has a checkbox. Checking it adds the item to your filter list. If a checkbox is disabled and cannot be selected, that item does not drop from monsters.

Saving Settings

Selected items and filter types are saved automatically and apply to all characters on the account.

Filter Types

There are several filter modes:

  • Disable Item Pickup
  • Basic Filter
  • Selected Items
  • Basic Filter + Items
  • All Items

"Disable Item Pickup" — all dropped items fall to the ground. Equivalent to unequipping the pet.

"Basic Filter" — the default mode if no settings were changed. The pet picks up only server-approved valuable items (green/purple bags, gems, certain chests, flasks).

"Selected Items" — the pet picks up only the manually checked items.

"Basic Filter + Items" — combines the admin-set list with the player’s custom checked items.

"All Items" — the pet picks up everything regardless of settings.

Skins for Hand Pets

Skins for pets can be obtained only through the Wardrobe.
