ASCARON ONLINE GAME RULES Version for publication on ascaron.online Last updated: September 14, 2026 These Rules support fair play, account security, and predictable enforcement. They apply together with the User Agreement. 1 Accounts and access • users must protect their password and email account • selling, buying, transferring, or sharing accounts is prohibited • accessing another person's account, phishing, and collecting credentials are prohibited • creating an account to evade a sanction is prohibited 2 Errors and vulnerabilities A User must not intentionally exploit an error in the client, server, economy, quests, or items to gain an advantage, duplicate value, evade restrictions, or cause harm. A critical error must no longer be used and should be reported to support. The Operator may correct the consequences, including removal of improperly obtained benefits. 3 Third party software Bots, macros, other automation, client replacement or modification, code injection, interception or alteration of network traffic, circumvention of technical restrictions, and tools that provide an unfair advantage are prohibited unless the Operator has expressly authorised a specific tool. 4 Trading and real money In-game trading is permitted only through game-supported mechanics and for in-game value. Selling, buying, exchanging, or brokering accounts, characters, game currency, crystals, items, boosting, or other game services for real money, cryptoassets, gift cards, or other external consideration is prohibited. Advertising such transactions, linking to marketplaces, and publishing seller contact details are prohibited. The Operator does not restore value lost in an unauthorised transaction unless required by law or needed to correct the Operator's own error. 5 Fraud Item or price substitution, false promises in an exchange, impersonating administration, use of another person's payment instrument, deliberate duplicate refund requests, manipulation of referral or bonus systems, and assisting such conduct are prohibited. 6 Communication • credible threats of violence, harassment, discriminatory abuse, and sexual harassment are prohibited • publishing another person's personal data, blackmail, and calls for harassment are prohibited • spam, malicious links, unlawful content, and unauthorised advertising are prohibited • commercial messages may appear only in designated channels and at the frequency set by administration 7 Names and representation Account, character, guild, and other names must not be abusive or unlawful, mislead users about a relationship with the Operator, or impersonate administration. The Operator may require a name change. 8 Interference with the service Availability attacks, scanning intended to compromise systems, authentication bypass, unauthorised server or database access, malware distribution, and conduct that disrupts other users or administration are prohibited. 9 Competitive integrity Match fixing, artificial rating inflation, use of multiple accounts to manipulate competition, transfer of a result to another person, and other unfair advantages are prohibited unless the rules of a specific event expressly permit the conduct. 10 Moderation and evidence The Operator may use server logs, transaction history, messages, complaints, technical signals, and User-provided materials during an investigation. Review must be proportionate, and access to data is limited to authorised persons. 11 Sanctions Depending on severity, intent, harm, repetition, and cooperation, measures may include a warning, content removal, forced renaming, chat or feature restrictions, removal of improperly obtained value, temporary suspension, or account closure. A critical security threat or confirmed fraud may lead to immediate suspension. 12 Appeals and changes An appeal may be sent to info@ascaron.online with the account identifier and relevant facts. Where reasonably practicable, it is reviewed by a person who did not make the initial decision. Updated Rules are published with an update date; material changes are announced in advance except for urgent security measures.
