Sending a Crash Report

Sometimes the client may crash unexpectedly; you have probably encountered this already. We are working to fix the places where exceptions occur. Currently, there are still exceptions that we are unable to reproduce ourselves. The best way to help us reduce their number is to send a client crash dump. A dump is information about the state of the client at the moment of the crash, which a developer can open to understand what went wrong.

The dump is created by a special client component called BugTrap or "Catcher". When the client crashes, the catcher automatically starts and creates a dump, opening a window where you need to do the following steps:

  • Click: More...
  • Then you will see several buttons on the right; click: Save...
  • Choose a folder where the archive will be saved. For convenience, select the client installation folder .\system64 or .\system32, depending on your system. * For example: C:\Games\ascaron\system64\

The catcher will create an archive in the selected location. Send it to an administrator on Discord.
