Upcoming updates and changes in the game

Dear friends!
Today, after maintenance taking place from 13:00 to 13:15 server time, small changes will be applied to the game.
We would also like to share information about a major update planned for mid-January.

The year is coming to an end, and all content planned for the current stage has been successfully implemented.
Ahead of us is an important technical period — a phase of deep refinement and implementation of key systems.

Even during holidays and weekends, we will continue to share news about the progress of our work.
Despite the technical focus, the team is also preparing the next stage of the project’s development.

Plans for the upcoming update

1. Mini “Snow War”

It is no coincidence that in recent days we have been actively talking about level 60 content on our social media.

Over the past 5 years of working on projects related to Tales Of Pirates, we were not able to support full-fledged mini content:

  • the online population was insufficient;

  • activities overlapped with high-level content.

Now the situation has changed. We see real potential and are creating a full “pit stop” for mini players.

In 2026, the Mini “Snow War” will be introduced:

  • Gear Score limit — 100;

  • additional balance adjustments will be adapted to level 60 activity;

  • over time, GS limits will be gradually expanded.

2. Black Dragon Purgatory

A full Black Dragon lair will be added,
where rewards will include full gems, not fragments.

  • available once per week;

  • important requirement:
    you must complete the storyline at least up to the Four Elements weapon.

3. Introduction of 65 Uns

Players will be able to upgrade 55 Uns into 65 Uns.

This means there is still time to:

  • upgrade 55 Uns to Tier V;

  • prepare in advance for the next stage of gear progression.

4. Admiral Cloaks and Gems

We plan to introduce a system for obtaining Admiral cloaks and gems.

Currently, we are closely monitoring activity in “King of the Hill” and continue fixing possible issues.
In the future, this dungeon may become a buffer zone connecting:

  • high-level players;

  • mini content;

  • PvE activities.

About the project and its development

During the holiday period, we have doubled our advertising budgets.

We sincerely believe that only by investing:

  • effort;

  • time;

  • resources;

  • and most importantly — heart,

can we breathe new life into this wonderful and unique game.

Below is the list of changes applied today after the restart.

Gameplay changes

  • Reduced the size of mini-bosses in the Old City.

  • Changed spawn points of Red Turkeys in “King of the Hill”:

    • they no longer drop purification gems;

    • they now have extremely low HP.

  • Balance changes in “King of the Hill”:

    • Sea Conquerors received increased Spirit, HP, Defense, and Physical Resistance;

    • all classes received increased movement speed;

    • CON versions of Witches received a small survivability boost;

    • HP and MP regeneration increased for all classes.

  • Santas in “King of the Hill” have been weakened.

  • The skill “Fairy Mastery” can no longer be used in “King of the Hill”.

  • Magic classes deal x2 damage to monsters in “King of the Hill”, as well as to New Year monsters in Ascaron.

  • Scroll drop rates have been changed in:
    Frost Island, Fortune Island, Zephyr Island, Ice of chill
    (from 10% to 25%).

Fixes

  • Fixed storyline quests for slot creation and gem insertion — the target item is now a ring.

  • Fixed the display of gold changes when combining gems.

  • Fixed level check when entering Behemoth’s Lair.

  • Minor fixes to monster names, item names, and descriptions.

  • Fixed equipment summon scrolls for levels 15–35 with incorrect pricing.

  • Added missing icons for mount pets.

  • Fixed the visual effect of the frozen light bomb.

  • Fixed the non-working dragon fruit obtained from reputation.

New

  • Added additional server entry points.

Other

  • Due to incorrect ally/enemy system behavior in “King of the Hill”, a visual effect has been added to help distinguish allies from enemies.
